Make sure you VOTE on 2/5!
Tommorow, remember your civic OBLIGATION to vote in the primary election! I have withheld backing a candidate until now because I have been so torn. I REALLY wanted it for Hillary,I truly did! Aside from Slick Willy's little "trist", the Clinton Administration was, for the majority, one of the most prosperous times in American history! Many people saw a soar in stocks and employment and the near-recession" gifted" to us by the FIRST Bush Administration was but a boil on the ass of the Republican party as a whole and the Bush clan personally. I had thought that maybe we could enjoy that same bliss under a NEW Clinton......but...I just don't foresee it as a reality. Now, don't get it twisted, I LOVE Hillary's stance on healthcare, education, children and family issues, etc...I think she is the most dedicated to these issues while being TRULY being non discriminatory. BUT, realistically, I just don't think she is the "full package", ecspecially her lack of experience and I think that enough people agree that having her as the dem. candidate would hand the election to McCain (who will most likely be the repub. candidate, sadly) and THAT would be a travesty!
So - I back Obama! I do not think that he has EVERYTHING in order- YET and some of his ideals seem a bit naieve and just not practical but...none the less, we need a democrat in office! We need someone to stand up for all of us who live in the "gray" area of not financially set but not destitute, either. We need someone to ensure that appropriate tax cuts and incentives go to these people and NOT big businesses and the Donald Trumps of the world. We need healthcare for everyone, we need to end this monsrosity of a war and bring our boys home, we need fiduciary accountability and responsibility in Congress, we need a crack down on illegal immigration - and we need it for ALL people! No repub. will accomplish this! Don't take my word for it - do your research on the Reagan and Bush (both) administrations of the recent past...don't let history repeat itself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alas, whatever your decision, just VOTE!
