Update on Wee Witches health............

Ashley had her Endocrine apt. and an apt. with the Cornea specialist this morning. Her endocrine apt. went well - she is still below the 5th percentile for her height but is about 50-60% for her weight so that is GREAT - she used to be off the charts LOW on both! Her cornea apt. didn't go so well - the cornea damage has not gotten worse which is a good thing (and it will never get better or go away, we know that) but the "lazy eye" part is a little worse which is why she is so fatigued and having such a hard time at school when things are written in smaller type - her eye gets mixed signals causing headaches, dizziness, etc.. Unfortunately, there is nothing they can do - just keep an eye on things and if they get REALLY bad, discuss an cornea transplant but, there are so many risks involved with her other health issues....*sigh* Myspace Graphics
