Mama Witch - misses Wee Witch's bus and other nightmares and mishaps of the day!

OK, so let me color the day for you.....I got almost zero sleep so naturally had I had every intention of catching some zzzs when Ash went to school. BUT, after calling the bank to find out that Jim's paycheck was for far less than we had thought but still managing to make all of our financial obligations and having enough to eat and live (whew) NOT TO MENTION the large coffee I was drinking as I chit chatted w/my MIL - sleep eluded me. So, after spending two hours!!! cleaning, sorting and separating toys in my attempt to get things in order (STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS) I spent a few minutes with Jim before he left for work. I THEN started to feel sleepy but knew I couldn't sleep because I had Wee Witch to pick up in an hour. So I finished some tidying and threw in some laundry and was about to shower when the school nurse called to give me the heads up that a child in the school had MRSA and that Ashley had not necessarily been exposed but we all know about "community associated MRSA" so we would take extra precautions and that she was complaining of knee pain and walking funny and that her mediport looked fine (as I had asked her to take a look) and before I knew it, the clock said 3:27 - I am usually out the door by 3:20!! So, I grabbed my keys made a mad dash to the bus stop long enough to see the bus pull away! Of course I didn't bother to grab my cell phone on the way so I dashed home to call Jim in time for my dear, WONDERFUL Mother in Law call and say she had gotten a call from the school and was on her way to get Ashley - sparing Jim issues at work by having to leave early!!!! So, I grabbed my book and waited downstairs to sincerely THANK PROFUSELY my mother and father in law (and get some great Gizmo kisses!) and get yelled at by a mad Wee Witch. So, now I am so far beyond tired it's not funny but I have more laundry to do and dishes to load and unload and homework w/ Ashley, etc...No rest for the BEYOND weary today! I swaer, by the graces of the Mother, one day my life will NOT be a ball of craziness..... Myspace Graphics
