An early day........

Soooo - the last time I left youI had had "one of THOSE days"...well, the weekend went a bit smoother - Of course, nothing much got accomplished in the way of things I wanted to get accomplished BUT, none the less, no complaints either! Wee Witch went to the doctor (1/11) after complaining of some knee pains at school and home which turned out to be a bit of inflammation but nothing more - she has her ice pack and and that is really all her PMD recommended to - we are always concerned because she has been on steroids going on FIVE years but, that did not seem the likely culprit - Thank you Godess! She also had some cold symptoms but, don't we ALL right now? Yesterday she ended up with "math test-itis", a very serious condition in which a child DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE their math test! Despite the continual persuation of Jim, me, her teacher, aide and school nurse - Ashley decided her eyes just hurt too much and she needed to go home. In fairness, she did have us close her blinds and keep the TV off and she did rest for almost 3 hours after school so something must have been bothering her but, in light of everything going on w/the school - it makes us nervous when she misses a day then is gone for half a day the following! Today she seemed ok so we'll see how things go - to be honest I have quite a sinking feeling;she didn't do very well on the practice test and I am curious if that is because she COULDN'T or WOULDN'T do the work...with her it is hard to tell! We'll see how the big test goes today! Well, it is snowing and miserable here (even by Bflo. standards) - good day to stay in and get some cleaning done...AND I WILL! By GOLLY I WILL :)
